This is a part-time or temporary non-benefited position.
Description & DetailsTemporary assignment at an agricultural research facility responsible for assisting scientists, laboratory specialists, and technicians in processes of a crops research program. Position requires diverse skills with major responsibilities to include field work including soil or plant sample collection, weeding, hand harvesting, and miscellaneous tasks related to assisting research leaders. Laboratory duties including grain cleaning, sample grinding, weighing and data collection.

- Limited amount of time may be spent on grounds and facility maintenance activities.
Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Advertised PayCommensurate with experience. Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.
Minimum Qualifications- Willingness to be timely to work schedule and desire to put forth consistent and full work days.
- Experience or demonstrated ability to learn the skills necessary to operate specialized research equipment and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Detail orientated, ability to maintain focus on task.
