Customer Service Representative

Overview

Customer Service Representatives working in the Enerbase Convenience Stores are the First Face of Enerbase. These associates are expected to provide efficient and friendly customer service to customers while maintaining a positive store appearance and stock levels at a high quality and in an efficient manner.

• Continuously provide efficient, friendly customer service to all customers while maintaining all company policies. Must be able to operate computerized cash registers, gasoline consoles, lottery machine, calculator, pricing gun, related hand tools, electronic credit card machine, and the ability to accurately count back the correct change and handle money.
• Communicate verbally and professionally and exhibit good organizational skills based on work performed. Work in a fast‑paced environment and manage and perform service duties in a short time frame. Enjoy working with people while able to complete tasks independently, without constant supervision or direction. Honesty and integrity are expectations of customer service representatives.
• Stock shelves, coolers, freezers, and all other products to maintain expected stock levels. Perform cashiering quickly and accurately, ensuring the till is balanced while in charge. Clean store areas, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, scrubbing inside and outside, and snow shoveling.
• Stand 100% of the time, walk up to or at least 30% of the shift, bend, stoop frequently, squat and crouch occasionally. Lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds rarely.
• Work mainly indoors, with exposure to temperature changes while inside coolers or freezers; exposure to dust, fumes, gases, and seasonal weather while occasionally working outdoors.
• Attain and maintain propane certification as the position is responsible for filling propane tanks. Enerbase will provide paid training for employees expected to perform this function.

• Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and arms while performing computer and paper tasks.
• Repetitive motion of fingers, hands, wrists, and shoulders, and occasional stooping, bending, or reaching above the shoulders, squatting, and climbing stairs.
• Regularly lift up to 45 pounds.
• Required visual abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

$1000 sign on bonus paid after 8 months of continuous employment with Enerbase.
