Meat Clerk

Overview

The Meat Clerk II is responsible for providing meat preparation services for customers, filling the service counter and self-service cases, and waiting on guests at the counter. The Meat Clerk II is expected to use meat operating tools and equipment up to 60% of the time. In stores that feature a Smokehouse, this role assists the Smokehouse Manager by creating superior sausage and other smokehouse products.

• Provide meat preparation services for customers, fill the service counter and self-service cases, and assist guests at the counter.
• Use meat operating tools and equipment up to 60% of the time.
• Assist the Smokehouse Manager by creating superior sausage and other smokehouse products in stores that feature a Smokehouse.
• Provide continuous delivery of exceptional guest service, ensuring the quality and freshness of all meat, seafood and fresh smokehouse products.
• Educate and assist customers at the meat and seafood service counter, attract guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere, and engage guests with freshly prepared product samples and suggestive selling.
• Ensure meat and seafood cases are fully stocked with product and understand all health, safety and sanitation regulations.
