Meat Manager

Teal’s Market is a growing, family-owned grocery business with locations in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. We are currently seeking a part-time meat manager at our Lisbon, ND location. The position may become full-time if additional opportunities are agreed upon.

The meat merchandiser is responsible for:

• Overseeing all day-to-day operations, including but not limited to achieving sales, gross profit, and labor goals in the meat department.
• Responsibilities include proper ordering, merchandising, display building, and setting retail prices.
• Maintaining freshness standards, dynamic presentation of product, and ensuring proper food safety handling in the meat department.
• Receiving, inspecting, and merchandising products accurately while ensuring proper rotation and quality.
• We are looking for someone who understands the role of a retail merchandiser.
  
  Ideally with retail experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about retail and have meat experience, but it is not required.
• Weekend and holiday hours are expected. Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
