About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and hardworking Retail Team Member to join our closing crew in Washburn, ND! This position is cross-trained between Front-of-Store Cashier duties and Nightly Closing/Restock operations. Core Responsibilities

Customer Service & Register:
Greet shoppers, assist with inquiries, operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, process cash/card transactions accurately, and manage shift sales reconciliation.

Closing Operations & Security:
Execute nightly store closing procedures, balance cash drawers, secure register tills, follow company loss prevention guidelines, and ensure facilities are safely locked at shift end.

Store Restocking & Merchandising:
Receive, organize, stock, and merchandise shelves, counters, and cooler displays to prepare the store for the morning opening crew.

Store Maintenance & Safety:
Sweep and mop floors, clean restrooms, keep aisles clear, and maintain a safe, spotless shopping environment.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pushing, and horizontal/overhead reaching.

Ability to regularly lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs during inventory restocking and nightly tasks.

Ability to safely handle standard store cleaning equipment.
