The Aftermarket Customer Support Rep will effectively drive retail parts and service sales by building customer relationships and satisfaction in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives. A successful candidate needs to display confidence, be driven to succeed, have effective communication skills, and have a team player mentality. This role also requires critical decision-making skills and a desire to continuously improve and strive towards excellence in the Aftermarket business.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide value to our customers and cultivate positive relationships by selling Parts and Service solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Support all product lines offered by the organization.
  • Promote and market all Parts and Service promotions of the organization to increase customer participation and achieve aftermarket goals.
  • Increase store sales by fostering growth with both existing and new customers, emphasizing sales opportunities for both John Deere and competing brand equipment.
  • Promptly follow up with customers and deliver sound advice to help their business.
  • Fill out call reports for each customer visit using dealership systems.
  • Communicate customer concerns to the appropriate department manager at the location when needed.
  • Profile customer’s fleet of equipment and updates in dealership systems.
  • Participates in customer clinics and provides limited technical support where applicable.
  • Provide backup support on the front counter during planting and harvest as needed.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
  • Must be a self-starter that independently maintains a high level of motivation with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of database software, online parts books, etc. and ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain rapport with key accounts.
  • Basic knowledge of agricultural equipment and dealership operations.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Sales experience preferred.
