UT Government is looking to add a Traveling Security Technician. The Technician will travel from Pennsylvania to Maine.

Security Technician is responsible for the installation, servicing, testing, and inspection of a wide range of access control and IP camera products and systems. As a customer‑facing employee, the Technician must be personable, knowledgeable, a self‑starter, and able to make sound decisions in the best interest of the customer and Unlimited Technology. The Technician must possess basic troubleshooting skills and work under the direction and supervision of various departments.

• Service and test various Access Control and IP Camera products and platforms.
• Read and comprehend engineered drawings.
• Understand basic door hardware installation.
• Complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Communicate all project activity to the UT project manager or appropriate manager in a timely manner.

• High school diploma or state‑recognized equivalent.
• 1 to 5 years of security installation experience and network ability.
• Knowledge of security equipment systems (intrusion detection, assessment, and access control).
• Capability to install and maintain various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices.
• Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance; DCJS Certification preferred.
• Prior troubleshooting experience.
• Security industry certifications.
• Knowledge of:
  Software House, Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Southwest Microwave, Genetec, and/or Onssi.

Pay Range

$65,000 - $100,000 USD
