Electrical Apprentice

• Assist a journeyman electrician and follow instructions
• Prepare and clean work areas
• Carry and deliver materials
• Install, repair, and maintain various electrical wiring systems and equipment
• Use measuring equipment and hand tools to perform conduit and cable tray installation
• Follow safety codes and building regulations
• Be reliable and on time
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Good technical skills and willingness to follow instruction
• Eagerness to learn electrical schematics and blueprint reading skills
• Strong analytical ability and willingness to accept and learn from criticism
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Good English‑speaking skills
• Prefer someone with 3–4 years of apprentice experience
• Team‑oriented and possess a strong commitment to safety and quality

• Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights will all be required
• Good work ethic, team‑player attitude, and problem‑solving ability
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Own personal hand tools with power tools provided
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen
• Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures, or in a shop environment

Minimum of 50 hours a week. 10 hours a day, with the possibility of working up to 12 hours a day and up to 7 days a week based on workload demands.
