As a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Bison Power Generation Plant in Ray, North Dakota, you will contribute to our team by performing the following responsibilities:

• Ability to run equipment such as Dump Truck, Excavator, Dozer, Skid Steer
• Working knowledge of and experience with rigging and lifting systems
• Perform quality work as determined by the project specifications
• Document maintenance logs on assigned equipment
• Operate gasoline, diesel, pneumatic, or electrically powered equipment to move objects or material according to project specifications
• Perform maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing, and oiling machines and equipment
• Understand manufacturer’s specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of the assigned heavy equipment, including load capacities, operating speeds, and specific hazard warnings and instructions
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to keep it in an operable and reliable state of readiness
• Scoop, lift, swing, or dump material
• Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel
• Assist in checking that areas are barricaded, and travel paths are clear and marked
• Load and unload trucks and/or rail cars
• Prioritize tasks according to job schedule and direction

• Pass all pre‑employment drug and alcohol test
• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience
• Have industrial construction experience
• Have OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or Safety Essentials certification
