Position Overview

Welder – Entry Level. The primary function is to provide welding expertise to support maintenance activities, including fabrication, pipe fitting, and rigging in the factory.

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Pass a Safety Screen that evaluates the ability to safely execute duties of this position.
• Pass a 4G weld test on a fixed plate coupon (overhead).
• For progression opportunities, hold current ASME, Section 9 Welding Certification (6G Pipe).

• Assist and support maintenance activities with welding expertise.
• Perform fabrication, pipe fitting, and rigging tasks as needed.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, MSDS information, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.

• Lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times.

Hourly rate: $33.78 – $33.78 /hr.
