This position will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of gas compression equipment in the Odessa, Texas region of our company. This is a rotational position.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor station equipment, plant facilities and pipeline facilities including prime movers and compressors, valves, filters, separators, dehydrators, pumps, and auxiliary equipment to meet production and throughput requirements in a reliable and compliant manner.
  • Plan, organize, prioritize, communicate, and coordinate work with employees and contractors to ensure work is completed safely, timely, and effectively.
  • Provide budgetary information, schedule work and outages, order materials, maintain inventory, and coordinate required resources.
  • Interpret and utilize drawings, schematics, loading curves, OEM manuals, and other technical resources in assigned work.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and portable/mobile equipment in hazardous and non-hazardous environments.
  • Utilize precision measurement equipment to determine dimensions and set operating clearances and tolerances.
  • Maintain equipment records, logs, inventory, and other documentation per procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and leadership to develop and maintain effective work crews, dependent upon level hired.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and complete required documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.).
  • Maintain facilities, grounds, and work areas in a safe, orderly, and efficient manner.
  • Participate in and lead safety programs and initiatives while following policies and procedures.
  • Provide on-call support for areas of responsibility on a rotating basis.
  • Comply with partnership safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform energy isolation lock out/tag out procedures (LOTO).
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Level C: 0–2 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience;
    Level B: 2–4 years;
    Level A/Lead: 4+ years
  • Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving record; ability to be certified as a USDOT driver under FMCSA may be required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in a group environment
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3600 ADEM III and ADEM IV troubleshooting and maintenance experience
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to learn and perform operations and maintenance tasks across various facilities and equipment
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and other computer-based work tools for training, time reporting, expense reporting, and online applications
Working Conditions and Requirements
  • Exposure to heat, cold, and other adverse weather conditions
  • May require confined spaces and heavy lifting in excess of 75 lbs with or without assistance
  • Work in and around industrial/construction settings with hazardous materials, extreme temperatures, loud machinery, and use of personal protective equipment as needed
  • Must adhere to safe work procedures and practices
  • Subject to call-outs after hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable attendance
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
  • Must live within 45 minutes of the work location
  • Must maintain truck tool inventory when on hitch and keep the truck clean and orderly
