Ready Mix Driver – Ellendale Portable Plant

Location:

Willmar, MN / Ellendale, ND. Seasonal, full‑time position based at our portable plant in Ellendale, ND. This role offers the opportunity to join our portable crew as a trusted ready‑mix driver responsible for delivering concrete to construction sites. Must be open to working at various job sites for extended periods with overnight travel required. Paid training is provided on handling and delivering concrete safely and efficiently.

• Safely operate a ready‑mix truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites.
• Follow DOT requirements.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Follow instructions regarding the type and quantity of concrete to be delivered.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding any delivery updates or issues.
• Provide customer service by interacting professionally at construction sites.
• Ensure the proper handling and pouring of concrete to prevent spills or damage.
• Maintain clean interior and exterior truck.
• Assist with additional maintenance/cleaning duties in and around the plant location during downtime.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders and stairs.
• Work in various weather conditions.
• Travel for potentially extended periods.

• Individuals who work safely and have the courage to speak up if they see unsafe behavior or conditions.
• Willingness to travel and work on‑site for extended periods of time.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) required.
• Ability or willingness to learn how to operate and maintain a ready‑mix concrete truck.
• Communication skills.
• Comfortable with learning or using GPS.
• Willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
