- Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of motor vehicles (approximate weight up to 10,000 pounds) to transport and deliver pizza, sandwiches, soft drinks, beer and a limited variety of hot/cold food items to customers located on and off the installation.;
Ensure products are delivered to customers according to quality standards established by management (i.e., freshly prepared foods delivered hot or cold, as appropriate, and in a timely manner).;
Accept patron orders over the telephone or via fax machine; describe menu items to customers and explain product options; submit orders to cook; assemble orders for transport.;
Determine the most expeditious route to take and consolidate multiple orders to ensure timely delivery.;
Obey all traffic laws and safety regulations; perform and document vehicle maintenance (fluid levels, tires, cleaning); assist food service staff as needed; prepare and set up serving items; maintain cash drawer and prepare cash reports at end of shift.
