Power Distribution Engineer

Pay is based on Experience, open to all levels of experience

• Provides technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution in the creation of construction designs related to power distribution systems
• Ensures accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, completion and monitoring of work activities
• Independently prepares thorough and accurate technical designs, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches
• Conducts engineering and related studies as dictated by the design criteria
• Strives to continually improve job-related, technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance
• Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
• Maintains accurate records and files
• Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally

Typical design projects include - but not limited to:

Primary and secondary UG cable replacements

Self-optimized grid (self-healing networks)

New circuit additions

Voltage conversions

Circuit ties

Circuit studies

Right of way acquisition

Requirements:
Associates or Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience in Power Distribution
