Job DescriptionDo you enjoy driving, meeting new people, and making a difference in the lives of seniors? Salterra Senior Living is looking for a dependable, friendly, and safety-focused Bus Driver to join our team!
Our Bus Driver helps keep our residents active and connected by providing safe transportation to appointments, shopping trips, community outings, restaurants, events, and more.
What You’ll Do:- Safely transport residents in our community bus/van
- Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle
- Help residents with walkers, wheelchairs, and mobility devices
- Ensure wheelchairs and safety equipment are properly secured
- Complete basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep the community vehicle clean, safe, and ready to go
- Provide friendly, patient, and compassionate service to our residents
- Work alongside our team to make resident outings safe and FUN!
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Dependable and safety-conscious
- Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with seniors
- Able to assist residents with mobility needs
- Professional and positive attitude
- Previous professional driving or senior living experience is a plus!
