What You'll do:A Jeep automotive service technician plays a crucial role by serving as a service technician with a solid foundation of skills and experience with Jeep or other Chrysler vehicles. Here's a breakdown of their responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems with minimal supervision.
- Perform maintenance and repair work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with the parts department to obtain necessary components.
- Save and tag parts per warranty or customer request procedures.
- Conduct multi-point inspections and identify additional safety or service needs through video walk through.
- Accurately document all work performed and recommended services.
- Perform road tests to verify repairs and ensure quality control.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, hazardous waste handling).
- Prior experience and certifications working with Jeep or other Chrysler vehicles
- 5 years of hands-on experience in an Automotive Repair Facility
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, repair orders, and diagnostic tools.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with service advisors and team members.
- Basic computer proficiency for repair documentation and diagnostics.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. - ASE certification(s) preferred but required
