Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and create a positive first impression while managing front desk operations.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments efficiently.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Collect and accurately post patient payments, co-pays, and account balances.
  • Maintain and update patient records while ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with doctors, hygienists, and clinical staff to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Assist with administrative tasks to support the daily operations of the practice.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a dental office is preferred; medical office experience will also be considered.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a patient-first attitude.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive, professional, and dependable demeanor.
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn dental practice management software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and between our North Haven and Wallingford locations as needed.
