Medical Education, University Professor
Overview
The Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University invites applications for multiple full-time faculty positions in the Department of Medical Sciences, an integrated basic science department at the core of our innovative medical education curriculum. As a member of this collaborative and student-centered faculty, you will help shape the first two years of our systems-based, integrated pre-clerkship curriculum—working closely with colleagues to design, deliver, and continuously evolve an educational experience that prepares future physicians for complex, real-world practice.
We seek educators and scholars who are passionate about teaching, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration. These are full-time (1.0 FTE), benefits-eligible, on-ground positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience. For clinical faculty, reduced FTE appointments may be considered to support ongoing clinical practice, consistent with qualifications and departmental needs (please include your FTE expectations in your cover letter).
While candidates with the ability to teach broadly across the curriculum are encouraged to apply, particular interest will be given to individuals with expertise in:
- Biochemistry
- Endocrinology
- Neuroscience/Neurology
- Infectious Disease/Immunology
- Public/Population Health
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing medical school, contribute to an integrated and forward-looking curriculum, and make a meaningful impact on medical education and student success.
