Job Title: Occupational Therapy Department Graduate Assistantship
Department: Occupational Therapy
Employment Type: Graduate Assistant (Hourly)
Responsibilities- Support students and faculty in the OT Process in Adults and Older Adults (OTM/OTD 524 & 524L).
- Support students and faculty in the Biomechanics Lab (OTM/OTD 528L).
- Support the department with administrative duties and scholarly endeavors.
- Completed coursework in Occupational Therapy (OT, MOT, or OTD).
- Reliable transportation to the North Haven Campus.
- Strong ability to assume a professional position of mentorship on behalf of OT peers.
- Expressed desire to actively partake in the teaching/learning process on behalf of student success and/or research and other scholarly endeavors.
- Demonstrated engagement in teaching/learning (e.g., tutoring) and/or scholarship preferred.
- Strong ability to complete faculty-assigned tasks given distant supervision in a timely fashion.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs as necessary (moving equipment to prepare for labs).
To be determined based on selected student schedule and department needs.
