Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned.

+ Provides engineering support to a manufacturing line after product launch.

+ Interfaces with line operators, team leads, production supervisors,and managers to support newly launched product lines.

+ Conducts all aspects of process validation.

+ Gathers, analyzes, and generates reports on how a manufacturing line performs inproduction.

+ Develops manufacturing SOP and SWI work instructions.

+ Monitors performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates andinitiatescorrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

+ Workswitha senior engineer withguidanceto design process improvements, including manual tools or upgrades to existing equipment tooptimizemanufacturing metrics or correct issues found in manufacturing.

+ Workswitha senior engineer'sguidanceto developinspection and test requirements.

+ Usesstatistics to provide support tomanufacturingprocessdevelopment.

+ Initiate and champion CDPs

+ Design andprocureassembly aids and fixtures

+ Conduct Design reviews of manual or semi-automated assembly equipment.

+ May travel to equipment vendors to support Factory Acceptance Testing activities.

** Required Knowledge and

Experience:

** Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of experience OR an advance degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience.

** Nice to Have*
* + Working knowledge of Medtronic North Haven BPCS and Agile systems.

+ 1+ Years supporting existing products in a manufacturing environment

+ Direct experienceconductingvarious aspects of assembly process validation.

+ Working knowledge ofCreo orSolid

Worksa plus

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
