Responsibilities- Provides engineering support to a manufacturing line after product launch.
- Interfaces with line operators, team leads, production supervisors, and managers to support newly launched product lines.
- Conducts all aspects of process validation.
- Gathers, analyzes, and generates reports on how a manufacturing line performs in production.
- Develops manufacturing SOP and SWI work instructions.
- Monitors performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Works with a senior engineer with guidance to design process improvements, including manual tools or upgrades to existing equipment to optimize manufacturing metrics or correct issues found in manufacturing.
- Works with a senior engineer's guidance to develop inspection and test requirements.
- Uses statistics to provide support to manufacturing process development.
- Initiate and champion CDPs.
- Design and procure assembly aids and fixtures.
- Conduct Design reviews of manual or semi‑automated assembly equipment.
- May travel to equipment vendors to support Factory Acceptance Testing activities.
Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of experience OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience.
Nice to Have- Working knowledge of Medtronic North Haven BPCS and Agile systems.
- 1+ Years supporting existing products in a manufacturing environment.
- Direct experience conducting various aspects of assembly process validation.
- Working knowledge of Creo or Solid Works a plus.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Benefits& Compensation
Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S (excluding Puerto Rico) locations (USD): $83,200.00 – $. This position is eligible for a short‑term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
