In this role, you will serve as a key engineering partner to the Global Facilities Team, acting as the primary liaison between Operations, Project Management, and Construction teams to ensure facility projects and infrastructure initiatives are delivered successfully. As the Owner's Representative, you will help translate business and operational needs into effective engineering solutions while maintaining alignment across multiple internal teams and external partners.
You will lead and coordinate the work of Facilities teams, experienced technical professionals, and specialized vendors, providing technical oversight and direction throughout the lifecycle of projects and operational initiatives. While many of the individuals you collaborate with will not report directly to you, you will play an influential leadership role, guiding cross-functional teams through complex facility improvements and infrastructure efforts.
A significant focus of this position is supporting Mechanical and Plumbing systems across global facilities. You will help drive projects and initiatives that strengthen facility infrastructure, improve operational reliability, and enhance energy performance. From early planning and design through execution and operational support, you will ensure that systems are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.
Success in this role requires strong collaboration and influence within a matrixed environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate resources, provide technical expertise, and ensure that critical infrastructure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

We're working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. This role will be based in North Haven, CT.
- Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities
- Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility
- Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings
- Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition
- Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs
- Inspects or directs the inspection of construction, installation progress, and commissioning to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Travel to other sites 20-40% depending on project work
- Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of Facility Mechanical infrastructure, Electrical Infrastructure, and Building Automation Systems experience OR Master's Degree and 5+ years of experience OR PhD and 3+ years of experience
- Mechanical system knowledge (HVAC, electrical, building automation, plumbing systems)
- Experience supporting design/build of clean rooms, chiller plants, compressed air plants
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
- Experience with integrated building solutions including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management and alarming, zoned lighting control and facility access control
- Experience with automation protocols including Modbus, BACnet, and Lon Works
- Tridium/Niagara BAS Certification
- Fluent in English and Spanish
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
