Lab technician

Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: North Haven, CT

Duration: 12+ months (possibility of extension)

• The Reliability Technician will work closely with R&D engineers to test new and existing products, generating and analyzing data for the New Product Development process.
• Preference for Mechanical or Biomedical Engineers.
• Will consider mechanically inclined technicians without an Engineering degree.
• Exposure to Instron testing.

• Assist in the mechanical evaluation of new and existing products.
• Evaluate test data and report results.
• Prepare and operate lab equipment such as Instrons and needle testing equipment.
• B.S. in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or related work experience.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
