Senior Accountant – Finance
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the finance functions for the company, ensuring accurate financial processing, reporting, and compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced accounting knowledge, and the ability to drive process improvements.
Responsibilities- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries based on financial data analysis.
- Maintain and reconcile subsidiary ledgers and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain the general ledger, prepare trial balances, and reconcile entries.
- Independently manage cash, credit collection, and accounts payable.
- Analyze accounts, explain variances, and provide monthly financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheet, P&L, reconciliations, and related reports.
- Review monthly results to ensure accuracy, proper application of accounting policies, and timely submission.
- Lead the forecasting and budgeting process for SFC Koenig LLC.
- Ensure asset preservation and effective working capital management.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies to reduce manual work and drive finance improvements.
- Develop finance processes independently, applying advanced accounting expertise.
- Establish and maintain a strong internal control framework.
- Process prepared payroll journal entries and support external audits through analysis and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Safeguard financial information and ensure proper data backup.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational integrity.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and stay current with industry standards.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Support local basic IT requirements in collaboration with the Global IT Team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required). Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in SAP and One Stream preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and implement internal controls.
Compensation range: $86,000.00 – $, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for a performance‑based bonus plan.
