Groundskeeper

Quinnipiac University invites applications for the position of Groundskeeper. We’re looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to helpkeep our grounds safe, clean, and welcoming year-round. In thisrole, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks—from plantingand pruning to operating power equipment and assisting with snow removal. You’ll also perform minor repairs and support generalcustodial duties. If you’re reliable, skilled with tools and machinery, and ready to make a visible impact every day, we’d loveto hear from you!

Please note this is a union position with an hourly rate of $34.70.

In addition to the base pay set forth above, a shift differential of $1.00 per hour will be paid for all hours worked in shiftsbeginning at or after 3:00pm on a weekday or on Saturday or Sunday.

Thursday, Friday, and Monday 7:30am-4:00pm and Saturday, Sunday6am to 2:30pm on our North Haven campus.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:00am to 2:30pm and Saturday, Sunday7:30am to 4:00pm on our Mount Carmel campus.

• Must drive trucks, buses, forklifts, and other motorized equipment, which may include emergency fill-in for a Mechanic I onsnow removal.
• Groundskeepers may be called for emergencies as required,including snow removal.
