North Haven, CT 06473 – $52.88–$57.69 per hour – full time.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nurse to lead our Health & Wellness Department at Leisure Care’s North Haven community. This role focuses on ensuring the health, safety, and well‑being of all residents through comprehensive assessment, planning, and coordination of care.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Health & Wellness Department and the care of residents.
  • Conduct health assessments and develop services plans for all community residents.
  • Coordinate residents’ health needs with healthcare community and vendors.
  • Manage staff through supervision, education, and support.
  • Establish staffing guidelines to provide all requested services for residents.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated evidence of current geriatric knowledge with work experience.
  • Baccalaureate degree in a health‑related field recommended.
  • Registered Nursing (RN) required;
    Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) preferred.
