Overview
Quinnipiac University's School of Nursing invites applications for part‑time faculty to provide clinical supervision for undergraduate students for the Fall 2026 semester. The position requires one day per week of clinical commitment during a 15‑week semester, with options for weekend or weekday shifts. Multiple days per week are also available within the undergraduate nursing program. Both experienced and new nurse educators are encouraged to apply, and the program offers mentorship and training for faculty new to clinical education.
Responsibilities- Educating and supervising undergraduate students in the clinical setting.
- Working with course coordinators to supervise pre‑licensure students in achieving course outcomes.
- Evaluating student clinical performance and written work.
- Required:
master’s degree in nursing. - Required:
unencumbered RN or APRN license in Connecticut. - Current or recent clinical practice.
- Currently practicing in a clinical setting or educational environment.
- Experience with teaching students in clinical nursing desired.
- Ability to demonstrate effective teaching in the clinical setting.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
