Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine is looking for a second board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist to join our North Haven location. Position OverviewAs a Veterinary Oncologist at Central, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team of specialists, technicians, assistants, and support staff to provide comprehensive cancer care for pets. You’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule and the support to grow your practice in a thriving, well‑equipped environment. Our oncology service is a high-volume department that supports both our in‑house specialty teams and a wide-reaching, trusted referral network.
Responsibilities- Utilize advanced imaging technology to support patient care and treatment decisions
- Collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, radiology, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, and emergency teams as needed
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
- Participate in case rounds, continuing education, and hospital-wide initiatives
- Mentor technicians and interns, and actively nurture a culture of support, growth, and teamwork
