Pay: $16.90 - $17.50
Member Services Representative
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
- Handle all front-desk activities: answer phones, assist callers, check members into the system, give club tours, sign up new members and calculate rates and monthly payment amounts, assist the Club Manager in counting the cash drawer.
- Facilitate updates to member accounts.
- Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
- Assist with maintaining the club's neatness and cleanliness, completing daily cleaning assignments, priority cleaning list, walk-around checks, and special cleaning projects.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by club needs.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Customer service background preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach to members and coworkers.
- Strong listening skills and ability to empathize and problem-solve.
- Diplomacy in all interactions using appropriate behavior and language.
- Continual standing and walking during shift.
- Continual speaking in person or on the phone during shift.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Potential exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
