Cheer Instructor​/Coach - After-School Programs

Brains and Motion Education (BAM!) brings inspiring STEM, arts, and sports enrichment to local schools and communities. After-school cheer programs provide students with a fun, supportive environment to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork.

Do you love cheerleading’s energy, teamwork, and choreography? BAM! is seeking a Cheer Instructor to lead engaging, high‑energy after‑school cheer programs for K‑8 students.

• Teach cheerleading fundamentals, including stunts, tumbling, jumps, chants, and dance routines tailored to each class.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence through positive reinforcement and team‑building activities.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive environment where every student feels supported and valued.
• Deliver a fun and professional experience by implementing BAM!’s cheer program curriculum and upholding high instruction standards.

• Associate degree or willingness to obtain a Paraprofessional exam with the School District.
• Must be 18or older.
• 1–2years of coaching and/or sports education experience.
• Experience and knowledge of cheerleading, flag football, or track & field.
• Enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring, with coaching or teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent class‑management skills and ability to work effectively with K‑8 students.
• Valid government‑issued photo identification and reliable transportation to assigned locations.
• Must pass a background check.
• Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
• Ability to lift and carry 20–50 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations.

• Wage: $23.00–$25.00 per hour

  Tues‑Thurs‑Fri 1:30p.m. to 5:30p.m.;
  Wed 11:30a.m. to 3:30p.m.
