Now hiring for a North Kingstown Beach Gate Guard!

Pay ranges $16-$17/hourly based on qualifications and experience

Must be available most days starting weekends only in June then 7 days a week starting July 1 through Labor Day. Full time and part time available. Hours will be 9-4pm daily.

• Check parking stickers and permits for incoming vehicles to ensure compliance with beach access regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors and answering any questions regarding parking policies, beach rules, and amenities.
• Monitor the entry and exit of vehicles, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic.
• Report any suspicious activity or issues to the appropriate parking authorities.
• Maintain a clean and organized gate area.
• Set up and break down of your area.
• Work with the Senior Center daily and be able to follow a schedule provided on activities and parking restrictions.
• Assist with crowd control during peak times or events, ensuring safety for all guests.
• Previous experience in security, customer service, or a similar role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Must be physically able to stand for long periods and perform light lifting if necessary.
