Customer Care Representative

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance industry, is seeking a Customer Care Representative to join their team. As a Customer Care Representative, you will be part of the Customer Service Department supporting the insurance services team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Schedule:

** 6 weeks in office for training;
Up to 5 times per month after training

** Pay Rate:**   $17.00/hr

** What's the Job?*
* + Respond to inbound inquiries regarding insurance coverage submitted by association members through various channels

+ Assist clients with enrollment processes and servicing policies effectively

+ Make outbound calls to follow up on prospects, telemarketing efforts, and service questions requiring research

+ Perform administrative tasks such as preparing memorandums and letters related to sales and service inquiries

+ Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and carriers, providing detailed explanations of products and policies

** What's Needed?*
* + High School diploma or equivalent; or three to five years of related experience and/or training

+ Experience in a call center environment is required

+ Knowledge of customer service principles, insurance lines of business, and sales techniques

+ Effective oral and written communication skills, along with personal computer proficiency

+ Ability to adapt to new work methods, policies, and ongoing change while working within company culture
