What You Will Do
  • Resolve day-to-day production issues to meet safety, quality, shipping, and customer delivery goals.

  • Support management initiatives by maintaining accountability for management boards, inventory records, and action items.
  • Partner with Quality and Technical Services to resolve quality concerns, including customer claims and corrective actions.
  • Support the development and implementation of new processes and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by identifying hazards, eliminating risks, reporting incidents, and ensuring that required safety training is completed.
  • Plan machining work using operation travelers, prints, and instructions; select proper tools, materials, setups, and efficient machining methods.
  • Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines, including installing tooling, loading programs, and optimizing feeds, speeds, sequences, and depth of cuts.
  • Properly load, fixture, center, and secure parts for machining operations.
  • Monitor machine performance, inspect tooling, verify program accuracy, troubleshoot malfunctions, and make adjustments to maintain process control.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, thread/plug gauges, etc.) to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Operate multiple machines simultaneously as required and report damaged or worn tooling to the Supervisor.
  • Move materials and completed parts using cranes, dollies, and carts, and ensure tooling and point-of-use items are stored in an organized, labeled manner.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure equipment remains in optimal working condition.
  • Carry out all job functions in accordance with established procedures and complete additional duties as directed by the Supervisor
What You Will Have
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–5 years of experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC machining centers and lathes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in G-Code programming with familiarity in CAM software (Master

CAM preferred); experience with HAAS, FANUC, or Doosan controls is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, CAD files, and operation travelers; CAD design experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of machining methods, tooling, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with familiarity in lean manufacturing practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent setups, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely operate forklifts/hoists (certification required or obtainable).
