Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute routine and non-routine functional and analytical testing on production and development samples in accordance with approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Accurately record, review, and maintain test results and metadata within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring full traceability and data integrity.
  • Support production, engineering, and R&D teams by providing timely, reliable test data that informs manufacturing decisions and product performance.
  • Participate in the evaluation, transfer, and validation of new products, test methods, and procedures, including involvement in gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R) studies.
  • Monitor laboratory instruments and processes using Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to identify trends, deviations, or potential issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory and cleanroom workspace in alignment with company, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Strictly adhere to all environmental, health, safety, and quality requirements, recognizing the safety-sensitive nature of the role.
Required Qualifications Education
  • Associate’s degree in Chemical Technology, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
Experience
  • 2–5 years of hands‑on laboratory experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or regulated technical environment.
Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed procedures with precision and consistency.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with data entry systems and laboratory software (LIMS experience preferred).
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a cross‑functional team in a production‑driven environment.
Other Requirements
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including a respirator, and work in a cleanroom setting.
  • Ability to maintain continuous alertness and operate safely in a safety-sensitive role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) or other quality monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor or advanced materials manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to method validation, process qualification, or continuous improvement initiatives.
