• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable, safe operation of plant equipment in a raw meat processing environment.
• Maintain and monitor the facility’s industrial ammonia refrigeration system, including safe handling of water treatment and related chemicals.
• Complete repairs using standard industrial tools and powered equipment to minimize downtime.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, findings, and completed work using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Support plant safety, food safety, and environmental standards by consistently following procedures, using required PPE, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Safely operate material handling and access equipment (e.g., forklifts, scissor lifts) and work at heights as required.

Required Qualifications Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Must be 18 years or older Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first year of employment Ability to safely perform industrial maintenance work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and navigating stairs, ladders, and confined spaces with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Working knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., pumps, piping, and chemical feed systems) with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Basic computer skills and the ability to document work electronically

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience with SAP
• Previous industrial ammonia refrigeration experience
• Process Safety Management (PSM) experience
