Construction Description
The Compressor Technician will participate in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of compressed air and vacuum systems and associated processes in a heavy industrial, manufacturing facility.
Role and Responsibilities:- Daily attendance at heavy industrial, manufacturing facility in RI;
- Execute preventive maintenance procedures, daily checks, inspections;
- Extensive troubleshooting of all site-wide compressed air and vacuum systems;
- Analyzing problems and identify corrective measures;
- Frequently checking blueprints;
- Obtaining supplies and spare parts, understanding repair manuals and parts catalogs;
- Review specifications, conduct site inspections, review system design and drawings;
- Must maintain strict adherence to safety rules and quality;
- Additional duties as directed by job site foreman, project manager, and supervisor.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
- Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality
- Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner
- At times may perform clerical/administrative duties
