Quality Assurance Auditor
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Quality Assurance Auditor Position type:
Full-time, Contract Duration: 6 months, possible extension

Position Overview Step into a quality-driven role where precision and customer excellence take center stage. As a Quality Assurance Auditor, you'll act as the guardian of product integrity-ensuring every mail kit meets the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and client expectations through thorough internal audits and process validation.
Note:
Shift timing may slightly vary (typically 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
Your Impact
- Conduct detailed audits of completed mail kit products to ensure alignment with customer specifications, quality benchmarks, and internal procedures.
- Interpret job sheets, control plans, and ISO/CQM standards to validate production quality with confidence and accuracy.
- Apply AQL principles and military standards to assess product acceptability and drive consistent outcomes.
- Identify, document, and escalate non-conformities through structured reporting, contributing to continuous quality enhancement.
- Audit operations across multiple functions, including Data Card, Hand Fulfillment, and Auto Inserting departments.
- Leverage systems like JAAMS and job tracking tools to maintain audit records and ensure process transparency.
- Collaborate closely with production and QA leadership to highlight trends, recommend improvements, and resolve quality concerns.
- Support the shop floor by assisting in inspection and segregation of non-conforming products.
- Play a key role in validating new products, portfolios, and customer-driven changes to ensure compliance before release.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative work culture by maintaining professionalism and strong team relationships.
- Adapt to dynamic project needs, including occasional night or weekend support for critical assignments.

Preferred Background
- High school diploma or GED required; higher education is a plus.
- Exposure to manufacturing, production, or quality assurance environments.
- Experience with auditing, compliance, or product validation processes is advantageous.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Ideal candidates bring a quality-focused mindset beyond basic machine operation roles.
Technical & Core Skills
- Understanding of calibration, verification, and process control concepts.
- Familiarity with non-conformance handling and root-cause analysis.
- Basic mathematical and intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret instructions, and make sound decisions in variable conditions.
Work Environment & Physical Expectations
- Active, hands-on role within a manufacturing setting focused on secure card production.
- Requires continuous movement across the production floor, auditing machines and processes.
- Frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- High attention to visual detail, including close inspection and quality validation.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $16.00 - $18.18 per hour
