Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the quality assurance and continuous improvement teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: North Kingstown, RI
Pay Range: $25-$28
Shift: 2nd shift
What's the Job?
- Assist the Quality Manager and Quality Engineers in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality system.
- Support continual improvement activities to enhance product and process quality.
- Conduct manual inspections to qualify parts and suppliers, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Production, Materials, and Purchasing teams to resolve non-conforming products promptly.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to optimize quality outcomes.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional quality skills training is a plus.
- 0 - 2 years of related experience; 1 year of dimensional and visual inspection experience preferred.
- Knowledge of incoming inspection techniques, blueprint reading, and GD&T.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
