As a Sales and Design Consultant
, you’ll meet with residential and commercial clients to provide personalized window covering solutions. You’ll conduct in-home consultations, build strong client relationships, generate new leads, and drive revenue in North Kingstown and the broader Rhode Island market.

  You’ll work closely with a hands-on owner who has a proven track record of building strong teams from the ground up. You’ll be supported by a leader who’s actively involved in the day-to-day of the business and passionate about coaching and collaboration.

• Conduct in-home consultations, educate homeowners on window covering options, materials, and functionality to help clients make confident decisions.
• Generate leads through networking, canvassing, and community engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, realtors, and builders.
• Utilize CRM software to track sales activity, client communication, and project status.
• Represent the Bumble Bee Blinds brand professionally at all times.
• Attend regular sales meetings, trainings, and webinars.
• Communicate consistently with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.

• 2+ years of experience in outside sales, lead generation, or customer service.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and listening skills with clients to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Clear and consistent communication with internal team members — collaboration is key to our success.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM systems, and quoting software.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High energy, positive attitude, and a self-motivated mindset.
• Must be punctual, follow established processes, travel locally on a daily basis, and perform physical tasks such as taking measurements, using ladders, and carrying sample bags to and from the vehicle.

• Experience in window covering sales preferred; candidates from interior design, in-home sales, or home services background are encouraged to apply.
• Earning Potential: $60,000-$80,000+ in total compensation
• Non-revocable draw of $36,000 annually, paid biweekly to provide income stability while you build your pipeline.
• Commission on all sales with uncapped upside
• Opportunity to transition to a commission-focused earnings mix as pipeline matures

This role is designed to reward performance while providing stability in the early months. You will receive a guaranteed annual draw paid biweekly, which applies towards commissions earned (~$3,000 per month on average). As commissions exceed the draw, you keep the difference with uncapped earning potential. As the business scales and your pipeline matures, there is strong upside for high performers.
