Equipment Maintenance Technician

Overview

Clean Harbors in North Kingstown, RI is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to join the team! The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repairs at the facility (no travel is required) for industrial processing equipment. We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with an excellent commitment to health & safety. Driver's License is required.

: 2nd Shift 2:30 pm-11:00 pm Monday
- Friday

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Disassemble/Reassemble facility equipment to examine or repair.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as changing the oil and servicing the coolant.
• Determine cause of malfunctioning systems and perform repair or replacement of defective component(s).
• Monitor equipment to ensure all repairs and testing are completed to insure proper operation.
• Other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Maintenance mechanic experience.
• Heavy equipment repair experience.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to successfully pass mechanical aptitude testing.
• Proficient with computers and systems.
• Knowledge of the industry’s latest technology or having experience working with electronics.
• Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
