Overview
Clean Harbors in North Kingstown, RI is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to join the team! The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repairs at the facility (no travel is required) for industrial processing equipment. We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with an excellent commitment to health & safety. Driver's License is required.

: 2nd Shift 2:30 pm-11:00 pm Monday

- Disassemble/Reassemble facility equipment to examine or repair.
- Perform preventive maintenance such as changing the oil and servicing the coolant.
- Determine cause of malfunctioning systems and perform repair or replacement of defective component(s).
- Monitor equipment to ensure all repairs and testing are completed to insure proper operation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Maintenance mechanic experience.
- Heavy equipment repair experience.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to successfully pass mechanical aptitude testing.
- Proficient with computers and systems.
- Knowledge of the industry’s latest technology or having experience working with electronics.
- Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
