Job Summary: The Skid Steer Operator is responsible for operating skid steer equipment to support asphalt paving operations, including material handling, surface preparation, and site cleanup. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient workflow for paving crews by ensuring materials are placed accurately, surfaces are properly prepped, and job sites remain clean and safe.

TravelPosition may require up to 100% travel by personal vehicle to project locations throughout the state of Rhode Island and New England based on the needs of the business.
Work Environment / Physical DemandsThis position works both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. It involves moderate to heavy physical activity, including occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. The role requires working on or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Employees must be able to sit for extended periods while operating equipment and frequently climb in and out of machinery.
Work is performed on active construction sites with uneven terrain. The role requires good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to maintain awareness of surroundings at all times. Physical activities may include bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, and repetitive motions.
Employees must be able to communicate effectively in noisy environments and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
