Electrical Maintenance Technician

Cargill seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support reliable, safe operations at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels, to minimize downtime and optimize production. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and calibrations while strictly following safety and food safety standards. Collaborating with production and engineering teams, you'll support equipment installations, improvements, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems
• Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration of electrical systems to meet safety and regulatory standards
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment status in CMMSCollaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to improve equipment reliability
• Support installation, startup, and modification of electrical and control systems
• Follow and promote Cargill safety, food safety, and quality procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement and root-cause analysis initiatives
