Location:
Essex Village, North Kingstown, RI 02852. Schochet is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator for two apartment communities in Rhode Island.

Would you enjoy working one‑on‑one with residents to identify needs, coordinate services, develop relationships with community partners, and plan community events that promote well‑being? Responsibilities- The RSC collaborates with resident services staff, property management, residents, volunteers, and community partners.
- Connects residents to services through assessments, intake, and referrals to community providers (home management support, financial assistance, mental health, public benefits, food assistance).
- Follows up on referrals from other staff concerning resident issues, such as aging in place, housing maintenance, conflict resolution, communication, and emergency support.
- Establishes on‑site wellness programs and events through community partner relationships or the RSC programming budget, covering topics from anti‑isolation celebrations to health lectures and computer classes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience working with senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between the North Kingstown and Newport properties and attend meetings or conferences.
- Availability for a schedule of three days in North Kingstown and two days in Newport.
