Location:
Office of the Personnel Manager, Town Hall, 80 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, RI.
Responsibilities: Ability to operate trucks and equipment skillfully, safely, and according to traffic laws and regulations in all weather conditions. Ability to operate dump truck for general maintenance and with a plow and sander for snow removal. Ability to detect needed repairs and to make necessary simple adjustments to automotive equipment. Ability to work long hours outdoors and to withstand exposure to adverse climatic conditions.
Qualifications: Must obtain a RI Commercial Driver’s License, CDL-B driver’s license within first 9 months of employment. Must perform manual labor and related work as required. High school diploma or GED.
Salary starting amounts:
- $50,891
* with no CDL - $55,078
* with CDL B and required licensing - $57,344
* with CDL A and required licensing
* starting salary, raises are given on anniversary date until top step is reached and on July 1st in accordance with Local 1033 Collective Bargaining Agreement
