Warehouse Material Handler, Mid Shift

Position Overview

Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island, one of the Ocean State’s largest wine and spirits distributors, is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to support order fulfillment and inventory management. The role involves picking, packing, loading, and ensuring product quality for customer accounts.

Base pay: $21.00 per hour with potential to earn up to $27.00 per hour through incentive opportunities.

Work schedule:

Monday to Thursday, 10am to 7pm, a four‑day work week.

• Issue, receive, pick and transfer product to maintain accurate inventory.
• Maintain set work standards for picking orders.
• Safely operate manual and power equipment.
• Load and unload product efficiently and safely.
• Inspect product and packaging for quality prior to shipping.
• Review orders for shipment to ensure accuracy.
• Perform other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work independently, manage self, and meet deadlines.
• Pass pre‑employment screening: background check, drug test, and physical exam.
