ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

THE ROLE

The City Clerk Intern provides administrative support to the Public Records Coordinator in organizing and maintaining records on a department-by-department basis. Responsibilities include scanning, organizing, and routing documents and assisting with other records management duties as assigned.
Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and a willingness to learn and perform the duties and responsibilities of the City Clerk’s Department.

Pay Considerations
The hourly pay for this position is $15 - $19 based on education level.

Work Schedule
This position is scheduled to work Monday and Thursday, 8 a.m.

- 6 p.m. Session from August 24, 2026 - December 10, 2026.

Part-Time/Temporary Position

  • This position is a part time/temporary position and does not include health or medical benefits.
  • Hours for this position will not exceed 935 per calendar year (see weekly hours for this position under work schedule).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Current enrollment in any of the following degree programs: HR Management, Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution
  • Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
