The Global Supply Chain Director is a key executive role responsible for leading the company s end-to-end supply chain and operational strategy. This position oversees supply chain, procurement, production, logistics, and delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost optimization, and high service levels.
Responsibilities- Identify key suppliers (Partner Suppliers) to the Cryogenic Pumps Functional Unit and secure long-term global supply agreements on behalf of the whole functional unit, including activities of other Nikkiso functional units where appropriate.
- Collaborate with all entities of the Cryogenic Pumps Functional Unit to ensure a clear understanding of components and activities that drive cost and efficiency. Pool volumes and optimize costs and availability for the whole group.
- Assist product companies to optimize the Make or Buy process for goods and services. Help General Managers develop business cases considering cost of capital, component cost, and time to market.
- Develop and implement a professional SQA process for all key suppliers in partnership with the functional units.
- Negotiate with large global logistics providers on behalf of the Cryogenic Functional Unit to secure Partnership Agreements that optimize international and local logistics costs and performance.
- Establish a global network of sourcing professionals to optimize cost structure and leverage supplier competence worldwide. Support local management in developing global sourcing from lower-cost countries such as Malaysia, India, and China.
- Lead the Supply Chain Council and promote transparent activities to develop the next generation of supply chain professionals within the group.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor a structured set of KPIs to measure sourcing and logistics performance for all entities.
- Collaborate with General Managers and Plant Controllers to analyze and recommend annual updates to standard costs for purchased parts.
- Assist in the setup of a standard part number scheme across all product companies of the functional unit.
- Assist in the development and improvement of CEIG Group’s terms and conditions (T&Cs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align transformation strategies with business objectives.
- Develop and execute change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree required; engineering background preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in operations and supply chain management.
- Strong commercial knowledge and experience required.
- Power BI and Smartsheet knowledge a plus.
- Strong systems and data analysis skills.
- Strong global manufacturing acumen.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale operations in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies.
- Financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets.
- Proficiency with ERP, CMMS, QMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- May require standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping or kneeling, talking and hearing, and using fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Overtime may be necessary as workload dictates, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Typically performed in an office environment but may require travel to a client s office, production facility, or industrial/construction site; conditions vary by location.
- Travel as required.

SalarySalary: $150,000 - $210,000 annually
