This role is all about ownership—owning the tech, the crew, and the success of every event.

What You’ll Do Own the Tech

Lead the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and teardown of audio, video, and lighting systems

Ensure clean signal flow, optimized system configuration, and rock-solid performance

Jump in fast to diagnose and resolve issues during live events—no panic, just solutions

Lead the Crew

Direct AV technicians and stagehands on site with clarity and authority

Assign tasks, manage workflows, and enforce safety and operational standards

Act as the go-to technical lead during events

Mentor junior technicians and help elevate the entire team

Support Events & Clients

Partner with clients, producers, and planners to understand event goals and technical needs

Translate show flows and specs into executable AV plans

Maintain a confident, professional, client-first presence on site

Adapt seamlessly to last-minute changes while keeping show quality high

Manage Gear Like a Pro

Ensure the right equipment is pulled, prepped, deployed, and returned

Inspect gear before and after events; flag damage or shortages

Maintain proper handling, labeling, and storage of all AV equipment

Support warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and equipment maintenance as needed

Set the Standard

Enforce safe work practices, rigging standards, and electrical safety

Ensure compliance with company policies and venue regulations

Keep work spaces clean, organized, and show-ready

What You Bring

3–5+ years of professional AV experience in live events, corporate, or production environments

Strong hands‑on knowledge of audio, video, and basic lighting systems

Proven experience leading crews or serving as a show or tech lead

Calm, confident troubleshooting skills in high‑pressure live environments

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities

Valid driver’s license (if operating company vehicles)

Bonus Points For
