Part - Time Instructor, Microbiology - FY

Core Responsibilities

• Teach transferable, entry‑level Microbiology lectures and/or laboratories.
• Develop syllabi and course materials as directed by the Lead Faculty Member and/or Lab Coordinator.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.

• MS in Biological Sciences or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience teaching Microbiology lectures.
• Ability to use educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems and PowerPoint.
• Ability and willingness to use email for official communications.

• BS in Biological Sciences or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience teaching Microbiology labs or experience in a laboratory situation.
• Ability to use educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems and PowerPoint.
• Ability and willingness to use email for official communications.

Starting salary: $925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester. Hourly for labs: $57.81. Exempt. Full‑Time Equivalent: 15.0%.
