Part - Time Instructor, CADD - FY

Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) Technology Instructor

Job Summary:

Provide instruction and support for CADD courses across multiple campuses, in-person, and online, and develop educational materials and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.

• Lecture and/or laboratory instruction for CADD courses.
• Develop syllabi, course materials, and assessment tools.
• Instruct students in accordance with curriculum standards and objectives.
• Independently evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Make necessary provisions to meet learning needs.
• Provide advisement to students.
• Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested.

• Required: Minimum 5 years of experience using industry‑standard software (AutoCAD, Rivet, Solid Works, etc.)
• Preferred: CADD program (software) certification(s)
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Preferred: Prior teaching experience
• Preferred: Knowledge of computer classroom technologies and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas)
• Preferred: Experience working with a diverse, multicultural student body

CADD courses are taught at multiple campuses, in-person and/or online. Courses may be scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends. Applications will be considered on an as‑needed basis determined by course availability.

Salary: $925.00 per credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.

Full‑Time Equivalent: 47.5%
